good morning. gosh, yesterday evening i went to one of the most beautiful weddings i’ve ever been too. to see 2 people so happy together and all the support from friends and family was just amazing. and the hawaiian food? it couldn’t have been better timing. i ate, ate, and ate all night. now i better go surf to lose some of the weight i put on…. see you in the water….
ASP australian surfer Mitch Coleborn is a classic example of what “breaking the law” in other countries can cost you. this 23 year old upcoming pro surfer made it 4 rounds in a contest in Canada last week. that night, they partied all night long and one thing lead to another. he ended up dropping his pants in front of people, including children. yeah, showing his genitals. in australia, it might be legal. and in japan, i know it’s legal because i see it all the time. somebody getting drunk, taking off his clothes, dancing on tables, and getting nuts in front of kids and everything….
well, the law for committing such a crime in Canada is 6 months in jail, and your name will be placed in the sex offenders registry. Mitch will have to face the penalty and if convicted, he won’t be allowed into the United States of America for 10 years, which will probably end his ASP professional career. in America or Hawaii? the law is probably worst and if you get drunk and drop your pants in front of kids, i’m sure the kids parents will tie you up, kick your nuts, punch your face, and then call the police. yeah, it’s a heavy crime in America and most parents and police won’t tolerate it. so this is just a warning to people that these types of acts might be ok in your country, but when outside of your country, be very careful. my advise is to keep you pants on at all times….
back to Mitch, the Canadian government took his passport from him and he will have to await charges in Canada. i’ll keep you posted on what will happen to the poor surfer from Australia. but until then, please keep you pants on….
i don’t like to write negative news like this on my blog but i’d hate to see one of my friends or nephews in the headline news like this. so it’s just a warning to the traveling kids that some jokes like this won’t be tolerated in other countries….
