good evening. what a magical day. the south shore Andy Irons memorial put together by locals out at bowls was amazing. it was our last goodbye to an awesome surfer, an awesome person, and an awesome champion. i’m still lost for words….
this is a paddle out memorial hawaiian style. so many things going through so many minds. it was hard to hold back the tears for everybody…
it was so good to see people from all walks of life. some of these people probably never met andy irons before but it didn’t matter. andy impacted a lot of surfers in hawaii and every single one respected him. it was pretty amazing….
