thank goodness the waves are small and it’s windy. i can finally do the things i’ve been putting off for months. small waves for the next week so i’m pretty happy..
i started a project 2 months ago. i took apart an old speargun and customized it. this is the before photo…
this is the after photo. i took it all apart, painted it, and customized it to exactly how i wanted it…. it’s a 125 cm beauchat spear gun and i’m going to get some fish on it…
see that rubber? i couldn’t find one on the island that size. so my last hope was going to maui dive this morning and having one custom made. there was a customer in the store who was super cool and said, “hey, i got one of those at home, you want it?” what??? really??? he went home, came back, and gave it to me. that rubber cost $50. i offered him money but he refused. the guys name is Lance Kimura and i’ll never forget his kindness. gosh, free divers are the nicest people on earth…. thanks Lance…
when i was leaving this morning, my mom asked me where i was going. i said to costco and home depot. he said “your crazy!” i went anyway and guess what, mom was right. “I’M CRAZY!!!” i should have known better than to shop on black friday. i walked into costco, and walked straight out. it was too crazy… mother knows best…
the smell of the christmas tree makes me happy. last year they sold out so i didn’t have one. this year, i’m not making the same mistake. i’m getting mine tomorrow… MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
