thank you Takami-san for sending me this amazing photo of Mt. Fuji! i can’t wait to see her in the next few days!
OMG, this morning session was so fun. i love taking kids surfing, especially for the first time. Yugo-kun is 6 years old and so cute! just to see his smile when we were going over the waves was so funny. i told him “isn’t this more fun than disneyland?” he said “yes!” haha.
this kid was very brave. just stood up from the first wave. we actually fell off but i think he was too shocked to be scared because i was just laughing and laughing. so he started laughing too. then i asked him “one more?” he said “yes!”
and his father Kishi-san just enjoying surfing so much. his first wave he got up and rode it all the way. super good balance and style!
then we were so hungry and Yugo-kun wanted to eat saimin. instead, i took them to my favorite vietnam saimin, PHO! i couldn’t believe the kid at the whole bowl!!!
i took Yumi-chan snorkeling the other day. she couldn’t surf, snorkel, and barely swim when i first met her. now, she’s a great surfer and a great free diver. the next amasan?
after we surfed perfect waves with nobody out this afternoon, we went to see if my pet shark was home.
yes, he was home as usual. gosh, i think i should name this white tip shark. what do you think?
and Yumi-chan is also an expert shell diver. snorkeling around and finding this beauty yesterday. we did some yoga surfing and the photos are pretty funny. will post it tomorrow.
omg, it’s almost midnight and i still have to pack, book my flight, and hope to get on a very full airplane. tomorrow starts the waiting game and what ever happens, happens. see you either in japan, or in hawaii. either way, i’m happy!
