**through go-naminori, i’ve met a truly fascinating man. his name is koyama-san, who’s from tokyo, who’s a professional fashion photographer. i was lucky to spend 3 full days of fun, learning, and on the hands training. koyama-san knows the ins and outs of fashion photography, and also knows the ins and outs of photography equipment. we spent time shooting both in and out of the water, in the most darkest and brightest weather conditions. what i learned in the past 3 days would take 2 full years of photography schooling. koyama-san has a special interest in surfing photography just as much as i have a special interest in fashion photography. we had lots and lots to talk about…..
hey koyama-san, thank you so much for being patient and answering my thousands of questions. your a great teacher and i hope someday i can check out your studio in shinjuku. i’ll scout a couple models off the street in shinkuku and head to your studio. i can’t wait for my first “in-studio fashion photo shoot” lesson! that’s my dream!!! yoroshiku onegaishimasu….
and thank you so much for setting me up with the canon G11 and housing. i’ll put it in good use! i can’t wait to use it!!! have a safe flight back to japan! mahalo for everything….
