good morning. i scored a short secret sunset session in town last night. the wind was off shore, the waves were 3′, and there were only 4 guys out. what a great way to end off the day. maybe surf there again today? ummm…..
hey, wanted to thank all the wonderful comments on vol. 4. yes, it was hard work but we’re all proud of the outcome. vol. 5 is in the making so stay tuned….
i was watching the pipe masters online with kelia in her room last month. it was kelly slater’s heat and he just scored a perfect 10. we were talking about kelly’s power and she told me “i can’t believe kelly slater doesn’t train or anything. all he does for training is golf.” oh my gosh!!! that was the funniest thing i’ve ever heard. kelly slater doesn’t train? are you kidding me? i think kelly is a very smart competitor. yeah, you have to be smart to win 10 world champions. kelly doesn’t have the power, strength, and flexibility he has from chasing a golf ball on a course all day. KELLY SLATER TRAINS! he might not say he does, but he does. why tell the competition what you do to better yourself and put you above the rest? it’s actually smarter to trick them into thinking you don’t train so they don’t. kelly has the perfect power, balance, and flexible body a person could ever have. and no, it’s not from the power balance bracelet. it’s from years and years of training. so to all you young kids out there. your not going to get to become world champion by goofing off on your free time. train! get strong! stretch! and if anybody wants to bet me, i’ll bet you that in the past 15 years, kelly trained in the gym, he trained on the field, he trained at the beach, and he did intensive yoga workouts. he’s at a level where nobody could touch him and he’s probably laughing at his competition he fooled all these years…..
