omg, one of the longest mornings in my life. got up at 5am, cleaned the house, took care of my chickens, finished packing, loaded boards, went to drop off Team Ina-san at the airport, went to get my rail pass, surfed with Team Akaike-san, dropped off the truck, jumped on the bike, and hit 100mph to honolulu airport where i sit here dripping sweat arriving 1 hour before i depart. checked in and getting the last flight out of here to japan. osaka to be exact.
been getting the reports and know where the best spots are and know where i want to be. will arrive there at 6:30pm, going to wakayama, packing my stuff, and hitting the road around 3am. tomorrow i hope to be getting barreled very far away. this is how i lived the past 24 years of my life and i can’t believe i’m still in love with chasing typhoons.
HIS sells full unlimited train and bus pass for tourists like me. a 1 week pass sells for $276 and since i’ll be going all over japan on this trip, i thought it would be better to go as i please. i will get into more detail after i activate it at osaka airport. i just don’t have enough time to driving for hours on this trip because i have too many things i want to accomplish on this short trip.
i always have fun surfing with Akaike-san and Azusa-san. one step at a time and it’s all about having fun. two lovely ladies searching for that perfect wave. thank you girls!
last night it seemed like a typhoon came through hawaii. the lightning was hitting the mountains right in back of my house. it was crazy! then this morning it cleared up. amazing how our island weather can change so fast.
and speaking of fast. if you seen this crazy guy speeding on the freeway holding on to all this baggage, that was me. haha. people think i’m crazy and the more i think about the things i do, i am crazy! one crash and i die. that’s how my life has always been. i just hope my plane doesn’t disappear or gets hit by a missile. that’s freaking scary! but if it does, know that i enjoyed every moment of my life until my last breath! aloha and see you in japan!
