there are all types of poke in hawaii. but nothing beats craig sako’s!!! he made for us 3 types and my favorite was the opihi poke….
chef craig and his assistant shaden showed up around 2 pm to get ready for the 6 pm start. for the other people who came early to help, they were treated by 2 excellent chefs doing what they do best. a 5 star dinner in a 5 star penthouse on the top of waikiki!!! wanted to thank craig and shaden again for making everybody happy. and wanted to thank you also for teaching us your secret recipes….
nobody knew what was going on when 3 musicians walked in during the middle of the party, set up, and played awesome hawaiian and okinawan music. that’s when the party really started!!! more details on the musicians coming soon….
whoever stayed till the end scored. why? because that’s when the opihi and crab came out. oh so good….
