good evening. waking up early, driving to the beach in the dark, paddling out in the dark, watching the sky turn from black to blue to red, then riding a wave right into the sunrise. doesn’t that sound cool? well, naoka and i did that cool thing this morning…. and it was cool!!!
well, back home by 7:45 am and finally been digging deep back into my emails and finding all these opportunities. the emails keep coming in on trips all over the world. as a surfer/diver/photographer, i jump on almost anything. why? because it’s my job, and more importantly, it’s my life….
one of the emails i get is from kyle at red sea ocean adventures. an upcoming, or should i say, all of a sudden surf/dive trip to Palau! eeh? Palau? i’ve always wanted to go to Palau. been to all the islands surrounding it like guam, ponpei, kosore, and many others but never to Palau. i always wanted to surf the perfect right hander, spear big fish, and swim in the jellyfish lake. i get online, i book my flight, and i’m GOING TO PALAU!!! finally, one of my dreams coming true…
Palau has a population of 20,398 people and is one of the most beautiful places in the world. am i excited? heck yeah!!!

now for the good news and bad news. i’ll start off with the bad news…
BAD NEWS: we’re staying on the beach with 2 speed boats, one going surfing, and one going diving. we have an awesome group of men and women divers and surfers. the water is one of the most clearest places in the world with lots and lots of fish. the waves, perfect right hander….
GOOD NEWS: there are 2 more spots available. you can fly there from hawaii, or japan. the dates are march 6-14. the diving will be incredible, the culture will be memorable, and swimming in the world famous jellyfish lake will be tickle you fancy…. contact either me at go-naminori or kyle at redsea if interested.
