yesterday was good, and bad. good because we got to go diving. but bad because the conditions were terrible. it was supposed to be calm and perfect, but ended up being rough and dirty water. there were so many boaters that decided to turn around and call it a day, but not us. we never give up!!!!
i can handle the roughest of seas, but after 1 hour driving the boat, i almost threw up. yeah, that rough….
every drop we did, you could just hear the whales loud and clear. every time i took a 50′ drop, i prepared my heart for an encounter of a big huge whale. if i didn’t, i would freak out so bad that i might have a heart attack. they were jumping around everywhere around our boat!!!
keith yamane got the prize kahala. my neighbor loves this fish and i’m sure he’s eating it right now. thanks keith…
there is an ulua house somewhere out at sea. most of the times, there is one in there. none of us have it marked on a GPS so we just have to look for it. so as i was swimming around the ocean like a lost fish looking for his home, kyle was right next to the anchor loading up on kole’s. i couldn’t find the hole and i guess it was meant to be. lucky ulua. next time, i’ll find it. and for this hole, i’ll never mark it with my GPS because i love the challenge…. thanks for the kole’s kyle. going to fry them up tonight…. oh, and nice wetsuit! i’m ordering my new one today….
for the conditions we had to deal with yesterday, we did pretty good. the water was as dirty as it gets and the waves were the worst i’ve ever dove in before. but the 3 of us managed to catch our own prized dinners….
i needed to dive. my mind is clear, my body is refreshed, and i have fresh fish for the week!!!
