**when i say old videos never die, i mean old videos never die. after so much demand for another video, i looked back and came across this video taken by matsuo and zuccho on our 2009 mentawai boat trip. it was tokura-san’s birthday party that night so after surfing perfect maccaronis, i remember stopping the big boat in the middle of the blue sea, we all jumped into the ripping current, and looked for dinner for the party. it was 8 of us swimming in the middle of the ocean, i took my first drop to 60′ or so, nothing. come up, take a breath, go back down, see nothing, then at the corner of my eye, i see a big GT swimming in to check me out. i point my gun, i say “come on a little closer big guy.” he comes in, i take the shot, hayato backs me up, we jump back on the boat, we speed over to HT’s, and surf one of the best sessions ever recorded. as for the party? sashimi, bintang, and happiness! i can’t show any video of that. that’s private…. enjoy!
