yesterday was such a beautiful day on the north shore. probably the most cleanest day so far this winter because of no wind in the morning. haleiwa was perfect!
at head high size, haleiwa doesn’t get any better than this. and for those of you who went to the north shore today, it was totally opposite. stormy, rainy, dark, cold, and super choppy. morning was ugly on the south shore too but at around 9am, it cleaned up to perfect conditions. thanks to the north winds.
last night was another amazing Red Sea dinner with family and friends. Mr. Nakamoto always starts off with a speech that can make a grown man cry. just touching words describing our relationship, our bond, our friendship, and our everlasting memories. what an awesome family.
the pupu table is always so fresh and good. i ate 3 servings before i even started dinner. all dishes made with love.
then my dinner plate. i had 3 of these too. and add the last dessert plate, i ate a total of 7 plates! i felt like a pig after and couldn’t even move.
Kyle’s house is not only amazing, it’s inspiring. the ceilings are so high that you can actually bungie jump from it. and i’m not joking.
Mr. Nakamoto gave us all handcrafted opihi shells made with aloha. these are going back to japan as Red Sea souvenirs.
artist, hand crafter, good heart, and good man. thank you Mr. Nakamoto! and thank you to the entire Nakamoto family for the amazing night in kaneohe.
