was on the top of Kaka’ako last night celebrating christmas with my friends. my friend John has the billion dollar view! so amazing!
Bobby prepared the prime rib. OMG, it was so good! i ate 3 pieces and felt like my stomach was going to blow up. i couldn’t drink anything but water after that. i was bummed i couldn’t even eat dessert. then i brought home a piece and ate it with eggs this morning for breakfast. haha.
i’ve never seen prime rib in japan before. so if you ever come to hawaii, you must try the Bobby Special. i’m sure you will eat 3 pieces too.
it’s amazing how much time and effort Kristie puts into her yearly christmas tree. i could just stare at it all night. the smell and details makes me so happy.
cool bling bling high heel ornament.
the christmas tree smell on the right, and the fresh white roses on the left. i was loving every single breath.
it was also Patrick’s 50th birthday party. super cool surfer friend of mine for over 25 years. happy birthday Pat, you look like you’re 30 years old.
my very successful group of friends. i’ve known these guys for about 25-30 years each. seen them all succeed in the business they do, and see them living the dream life too. nice to see you Sam, Bobby, Patrick, and John. it was fun talking about our crazy childhood memories. haha.
i went to pick up Hiyori-chan from the airport this morning. we came back to my house, 15 minutes later i ask her “what do you want to do?” she said “surf.” so we went surfing and this was her first wave. from sendai airport to honolulu airport to bowls. so stoked to see Hiyori-chan back surfing in hawaii!
then we went to cool down with a taiwan bubble tea. it’s so funny how Hiyori-chan reminds me so much of her mother Naomi-san. so active, so positive, and so tough. same smile, same personality, and same everything. what a special gift this girl has.
