gosh, had an awesome time with Naya-san today. we surfed for so long! i was stoked to see him riding so many good waves. after we came in, Naya-san told me “gosh, i wish i started surfing earlier in my life.” i told him what i tell everyone, “it’s never too late!” welcome to the start of a healthy and happy life!
another blog i uploaded but forgot to post. haha. i think i’m getting old! Hokkaido Otaru Beer!
had a great time in Niseko. super cool snowboard crew that knows how to have fun day and night. this night was awesome.
it was unbelievable snowboarding untouched snow. if felt like surfing a giant wave of powder!
check out the cool Niseko Station. i left here early in the morning heading to kansai for a flight back to hawaii. yes, niseko to kansai is pretty dam far!
a little miniature local train running through the deep snow.
the train would stop at every station on the way to sapporo station. as soon as the doors open, i get the freezing chill of my life. it was so cold!
deep powder all over the place.
i wonder how it would be living here? do you think a guy from hawaii could handle something like this? probably not.
then as i get to sapporo, the snow isn’t as deep.
riding the train along the coastline was cool. i was in the mountain for 4 days so seeing the ocean in a long time made me so happy. felt like jumping in.
i’m always thinking to myself “can i surf that?” next time i go to hokkaido, i want to try to surf!
and yes, an awesome bento to eat while enjoying the long ride. can’t wait to do it again!
