being the first volunteers pulling up to this little village after 5 weeks since the tsunami wiped out everything, these 2 ladies were really happy. Â it might have been the lady on the lefts first time with a big smile holding spinich that was donated for our mission. Â come to find out, her husband still didn’t come home since march 11th….
the elementary school we visited in ishinomaki for the 2nd time was much brighter than the first. Â why? Â the lights finally came on. Â i hope things get back to normal soon for these kids..
