i finally dusted off this box toda-san gave me the last time he was here. he said it was my christmas present so i waited like a good boy until christmas. this is the jack daniel’s family of fine whiskeys. because it’s a set, does that mean i have to drink it all at once?
i’m going to start off with gentleman jack. why? because one of my new years resolution is to be more of a gentleman. and it all starts tonight at 12 midnight! Happy New Year!!!
this kid hiroto ohara has been ripping on the north shore. he’s really aggressive in the water and that’s why he’s getting all the good waves. a good surfer from japan and i hope to see him pulling into big backdoor barrels next week…
the HIO contest is going to be on Jan. 2. the waves are supposed to be giant! if it does get big, i have to put my money on either wakita, or the guy on the right side of this photo, shinpei. i hope these big wave chargers are still in the contest!!!
