i’m not a realtor but it doesn’t take a genius to tell you that the real estate market in hawaii is freaking HOT! everything going up, up, and away!
last month, we had a nice dinner. wait! nice dinner, nice friends, nice food, BUT, terrible service. our waitress was so rude that i couldn’t believe it. of course she was nice to me because i’m local, but she was overly rude to my japanese friends. i’ve been going to this local restaurant for the past 25 years and service is going down and down. so sad to see my japanese friends celebrating a great moment here in hawaii getting treated the way they did. it wasn’t my first time with terrible service here and that will be my last time i ever go there. don’t want to say the name of the place because i have friends working there. in the end, we got treated very badly, even getting stink eye and yelled at. on top of that, the waitress automatically added in 20% tip for herself in the check. unbelievable.
then the next day i go to ala moana shopping center. i see this staff texting on her iPhone with one hand, and eating chips with her other hand. unbelievable. it’s a good thing i went to japan and learned what great service is all about. japanese work the hardest in my opinion. and on top of that, they don’t even get tipped.
i’ve been traveling around the world to all kinds of world class waves. but by far, the best of the best right hander waves has to be Rifles in Indonesia. i still dream about my 25 second barrels. now i can relive it on GO-NAMINORI.COM as all the previous web magazines are back!
