had a wonderful time with the Yoshimura-san family. father and son traveling and surfing in hawaii. so cool! it was Yoshimura-san’s 2nd time and Nijiro-kun’s first time surfing. both did wonderful and by the end of the session, i think everybody’s arms were sore. haha. good job boys!
then took the boys up the mountain to one of the best views in the world, tantalus.
breathtaking! always breathtaking even after going up there over a thousand times.
like a normal kid, Nijiro-kun tried to climb up the wall. so adventurous.
i love his t-shirt! “Don’t Stop the Waves.” Yoshimura-san came to hawaii for his honeymoon a long time ago. at that time, him and his wife seen a rainbow so they decided to name their child Nijiro, which means rainbow in japanese. such a cool story with a cool connection to hawaii. there were no rainbows in hawaii today, but there was this colorful kid named “Nijiro.” keep on surfing boys!
