was watching the semifinals of the WSL Men’s JR. Series event at Los Cabos, Mexico this morning.
super stoked to see Seth Moniz make it to the finals in such tiny surf. he ended up getting 2nd in the contest, won some money, accumulated some points, and surfing in perfect form. good job Seth surfing that tiny surf!
went surfing with Kimiko-san and Nomura-san today. waves bigger in hawaii than in mexico. stoke!
so cool watching Kimiko-san surfing better and better each year. she surfs only when she comes to hawaii and rides about a years worth of waves. absolutely perfect surfing today!
Nomura-san is a true surfer. once he hits the water, his smile shines.

just another beautiful surfing day in hawaii. we were all sunburnt and tired after surfing and eating. great for the surfers afternoon nap time.

you won’t find any tourists in here. too hard to find and too confusing to order. if you go there, order the macadamia nut ice cream on a sugar cone, and take out some green tea mocha ice. can’t beat that combo!
so many mocha ice flavors but my favorites are green tea, chocolate mint, and chocolate peanut butter.
after surfing everyday for very long periods of time, i just can’t get enough. short board, long board, fun board, or any board, i’m just so happy to be riding a wave. and it makes it even better to be surfing with such wonderful people. thank you all!
