if you want to meet a super energetic mother, you should meet Nanami-san. just super excited on surfing, just like a little kid. haha.

had fun with some friends enjoying the beautiful ocean. i was looking forward to this day because it’s been a while since i went diving. diving is so important for me because it keeps me calm, healthy, and happy. without it, i’d be a very stressed out person. one dive, one breath, and it’s all good.

i should stop going to dive shops already. every time i go, i see something new i want. it’s like a candy store. then when i don’t buy it, i go home and have nightmares. and when i do buy it, i can’t sleep because i want to use it. so you could imagine how i felt when i didn’t buy this gun the first time, and when i finally bought it the second time. nightmare to sleepless nights. haha. wait, sleepless nights to nightmares again? i was so happy to jump into the water to try it out. i dive down 32′ and see hundreds of fish. i eye out my dinner, wait for it to come in, get the perfect shot, take it, and totally miss? then i reload, try again, same result. totally miss! that’s not a good way to start off a day with a brand new gun.

so i climb back on the boat, get out my old faithful. i had this gun for super long. the cheapest model, the most simple, and the most basic. in fact, this model is called “basic.” it just looks custom because i took it apart a few times and painted it. anyway, this gun caught me the most fish ever. i speared onos, gut’s, mahimahi’s, and even a tuna with this gun. probably over $5,000 market value of expensive fish throughout the years. nothing is wrong with it except my craving to get a new one. that’s where i went wrong. anyway, i dive down again with my faithful gun, first fish shot on the money. second fish shot on the money.
the moral of the story is “if it aint’ broke, don’t fix it.” this is what my 9th grade auto mechanics taught me and i should have listened to him. live an learn.
