TEPCO finally admits that they downplayed the nuclear damage from 3/11.
they withheld the news from residents that were living in the area
exposing them to high radiation levels. i already knew from the start
that something was terribly wrong when the plant exploded, and was
leaking radioactive materials into the air and ocean. the thing that
even blows me away more is how TEPCO and the government still say it’s
safe in japan. yeah, they blocked off the 20 km radius around the plant
but i know for a fact that there are dangerously high levels of
radiation that are way out of the 40 km area. we drove through the
mountains in fukushima and as my counter was beeping like crazy, there
were grandma’s working in their rice fields, and there were children
walking on the streets. unbelievable.
now to the good news. a team of nuclear specialists just arrived in
japan to investigate the nuclear crisis. 20 top guys will get to the
facts and report it to the IAEA next month. i’m curious to see what
they find, and i bet TEPCO and the government are pretty dam nervous.
at a time like this, it’s better if we all know the truth. the truth of
radiation, the truth of how far it’s going around japan, and the truth
of how it will end. it’s over 2 months and the nuclear plant is still
unstable. people around the world are still worried. people still
don’t want to travel to japan. even if the truth is not good news, i
think we should know. that’s just my take on things.
and like i said before, i don’t want to badmouth anybody. i just want
the TRUTH!
