local knowledge fisherman Pepe and Popa. these guys know so much about the mexican ocean. i just love watching them looking all around knowing exactly what’s going on. their eyes are always looking everywhere and analyzing each and every situation. something that takes years of experience.
we are staying at a villa. the whole upstairs is ours. super big place and really comfortable.

big moon means big tides and big currents. perfect for blue water spearfishing.
Punta Mita is a little surfers town. surf shops and waves everywhere. there is supposed to be a swell hitting saturday morning. perfect for us to get a morning session before jumping on our flight. i’m looking forward to that.

we drove an hour up toe coast to Sayulita this morning. another cool surfers town. waves looked super fun for long boarding.
