omg, today was a pretty amazing day. i’ve been fishing my whole life and have friends that fish a lot. i’ve seen and heard all the stories, BUT, i’ve never heard of anything what i seen today. look carefully at this photo and i’ll tell you the story later.
it’s been a while since i could reef dive on the south shore. the waves just too big and consistent all year! so today i was super excited to finally do a reef dive. we went to check out some of my spots and something seemed different today. it seemed so shallow? 45′ deep reefs seemed like 10′. i could go down easily and stay there forever. must be from diving so dam deep in mexico? anyway, we all did good!
then we got out the fishing poles. Reid got his pole a couple months ago and never caught a fish with it yet. today was his lucky day!
something finally bit his lure!
and guess what? he caught 2 fish with one hook! omg, i’ve never saw that or even heard of that in my life! 2 fish on one hook? what a lucky day for this newborn fisherman. 2 uhu’s and 2 papio’s. a very successful day for sure!
going home with fresh fish is total happiness. can’t wait to eat them!
then i came home and played with Mateus. he was watching me do yoga, then i was teaching him how to do a headstand. first the “downward dog,” then a headstand. wait and you will see the youngest kid in the world do a headstand really soon. haha.
