i was so happy to pick up the We Are One crew this morning at the airport. it’s been a dream of mine to see this whole wonderful family coming to hawaii together. Hiyori-chan came the last 2 years but his year is much different as we will enjoy each and ever minute together. welcome to hawaii my loving friends! i am so happy for you to be here in hawaii!
staying at a local house in hawaii is the best way to experience the local culture. this cool place down my street is the best place to stay in hawaii. full on local style!
Kaito-kun and Chiho-chan’s first time to hawaii. everything is probably a culture shock for them.
and little baby Taito-kun’s enjoying his first trip out of japan. the youngest japanese kid with a passport. lucky boy!
we had so much fun today. riding around in the back of the truck, the kids getting lost, and lots of laughs and smiles.
speaking about laughs. i really think that surfing can bring the best out of everyone. i see it every single day. yesterday, Nao-san had the brightest smile after she caught a wave. it was just so amazing to see her enjoying the moment.
and yes, yoga helps surfing and surfing helps yoga. they go hand in hand. if you can do yoga, you can surf. if you can surf, you can do yoga. and if you do both, you will live a happy stress free life.
great job Nao-san! hope to surf with you again!
all it takes for me to do something is to start something. once i start it, i will finish it.
almost done. the foundation is as solid as a rock. this one will last 25 years because i knew what i was doing this time.
everything is well balanced and just needs another coat of paint. super stoked to finally fix something that needed fixing for years. thank you grandpa for teaching me by example. i couldn’t have done it without you.
surfing all day tomorrow. can’t wait so better go to sleep. goodnight!
