wanted to thank Shin-san again for the wonderful lucky morning session yesterday! i was so stoked to enjoy the warm crystal clear perfect waves together!
the 2 days before yesterday, it was completely flat! i checked it and it was barely surf able. then Shin-san came to hawaii and turned on the switch! switch on with only us surfing! score!

this is how shallow the outside it. once it hits the reef inside, it’s only knee deep. rocky, sharp, sea urchins, and moray eels. a place you don’t want to be.
when i went to pick up the tohoku crew at the airport, i was wondering why they brought so much luggage to hawaii??? come to find out, it was all filled with gifts for me. omg! i was so happy!!! i can’t wait to use this. hopefully some beautiful woman wearing a kimono can cook me a wonderful japanese meal for me. then i will sit on my knees sipping my sake holding my samurai sword enjoying every minute. haha.
i picked up the box this authentic rice cooker was in and it must have weighted 20kilos. add the bag of rice, mochi, and other wonderful gifts, it must have been so heavy.
i want to thank the Naomi-san family, Ryoko-san family, and Kanae-san family for showering me with all these wonderful gifts! i really appreciate it!
