for the past 4.5 years, i’ve been dreaming of this day to come. and this day couldn’t have been any better. it’s christmas and this is what christmas in hawaii is all about. it’s about sharing, enjoying, and connecting with each other.
to have the whole family in the water at the same time was awesome!
Hiyori-chan is an amazing girl. she’s touched so many people throughout the years.
older brother Kaito-kun is tough. built like a sportsman and eats like a sumo wrestler. haha.
i couldn’t believe how good Kaito-kun got so fast. he was surfing on his own and wanting bigger and bigger waves. unbelievable.
Chiho-chan has a lot of energy. this girl never gets tired.
i remember Minami-kun the first time i met him. he was this cute little kid. now he’s a cute big kid. and very funny.
so stoked to see Ryoko-san enjoying the ocean too. once a surfer, always a surfer.

the surprise was Naomi-san wanting to surf. i’m sure our We Are One team around the world will be very happy to see this! and check out sister Ryoko-san paddling on the side.
Naomi-san is probably the strongest women i’ve ever met. i can’t express in words how much she’s inspired me throughout the years. and now that she surfed for the first time, we have a much stronger connection. a connection that will last a lifetime. i’m so happy!
to Naomi-san, i am very happy to have been able to surf with you and your kids. i’ve seen enough smiles this week to fulfill my life with happiness. and now that your whole family loves surfing, your connection will be stronger than ever. much more stories and bigger smiles. it was a pleasure to share so many great moments in the ocean. please have a safe flight back to japan and thank you for all the wonderful memories in hawaii. hope to see you again soon. and always remember, We Are One!
