yesterday was amazing! surfing with Tomoko-san was so fun. just to see her surfing for the first time in her life and enjoying it so much. check out this amazing photo of her riding the wave and holding the sun. i love it!
and after each ride, ones true self comes out. it’s not planned or it’s not rehearsed, it’s natural, and it’s all good!

i wanted to spend this last day of 2015 in a place i love, the ocean. so this morning, i called up my friends, loaded up Mayuki with surfboards, fishing poles, spearguns, and lunch. i tell everyone that the ocean is unpredictable. you just don’t know what you will see. you have to go out with an open mind and let nature take it’s place. sometimes normal, sometimes, excellent, and sometimes extraordinary. today was the best of the best. after 10 minutes going out to our secret spot, we see the most beautiful creatures in the ocean, dolphins!
there were hundreds of dolphins and everybody got to enter their world. they just swam around in the same place and let us interact and take photos of them. isn’t this freaking amazing! after 40 minutes of that, we went surfing with big smiles. waves were perfect so even bigger smiles. then went fishing, then diving, and it couldn’t have been a better day like this to end the year.
my last fish of 2015. the best eating of the best eating. i have hundreds of photos from today i will share with you tomorrow. just a few more hours left of 2015 so going to go out with a big bang. hope you will too! see you in 2016!
