ok, our super secret session yesterday. it wasn’t just good, it was great! Takahashi-san and i had a blast. catching wave after wave all morning long. it was super glassy, many waves, and all smiles. here is Takahashi-san paddling for a glassy right. and of course, i was yelling “go, go, go!!!”
and again, the best surfing i’ve ever seen from him.

and yes, i had some super good waves too. just surfing a spot with your friend and enjoying life. what else could you ask for?
Takahashi-san asked me “when is low tide?” i told him “high tide, low tide, it doesn’t matter. the waves are good out here all day long. totally different from okinawa so don’t worry.” and having Mayuki just a few paddles away is like a dream.
we were together from early morning till late at night. had a great talk about business, friends, and living a happy life. i sure can learn a lot from this very successful man.
then the bonus on the way back. seeing a whale this close was so amazing.
and comparing photos right after. i have to admit that Takahashi-san’s photos of the whales were much better than mine. totally amazing!
then today i went back into the wild. went to whale watch, observe turtles, and surf. just an amazing day in paradise. i think today i got my best ever turtle encounter. i found a new spot and i really felt like i was Urashima Taro. i really did!
i’m going to sleep early because tomorrow is another full day in the wild! can’t wait!
