yesterday was super fun. we aren’t fishermen and have no clue. yes, i have the best gear because i don’t cut corners on that, but i only caught a few fish on a pole in my life. and usually i go fishing with friends that know how to fish. so going with Reid who has even less experience than me, i knew it was going to be fun. once he hooked up, i was laughing at him trying to bring the fish up. it’s the right arm workout of a lifetime. haha.
then here we are getting ready to get the fish on the boat. this is where most fishermen lose the fish.
it was actually my first time using a gaff on a fish. i usually use my speargun so this was new to me. luckily i got the good gaff in the head.
then the fish kept on coming on the boat. Yuko-chan reeled up some fresh sashimi. we actually ate it for lunch while we were still fishing. it was delicious.
it doesn’t get any fresher than this!
oh, somebody asked me how my avocado tree was doing. now it’s over my head and very healthy.
and my little gardenia plant turned into a giant healthy gardenia plant. the trick is watering it only with rain water.
allocated 1 hour of my precious time to search for a boat. really want to go on a boat trip this year but don’t know where to go. don’t like doing the same thing over and over so i’m digging deeper. things are looking promising.
the bummer thing is that the places i want to go i on the opposite side of the world. it will take me 43 hours to get there!!! omg! but hey, if i don’t go, i won’t know. i don’t live my life like that. the search continues…
