check out this photo from 5 years ago with the Aida-san family. gosh, look how young the kids were!
and the Aida-san family now. the kids all grown up. so stoked to surf with them 5 years later and watch them surfing so good!
and this will probably be the last time i can carry Rio-kun. haha. thank you Nanami-san for this photo.
and want to thank Matsu for taking these photos from Nihiwatu. it’s incredible to be able to travel around the world and surf just with your friends. this is probably the most perfect wave in the world for Kimura-san. it’s a goofy footers paradise.
Matsu and i shared this huge villa. we would wake up in the morning and see the waves peeling perfectly right out in front. in fact, one of the days, we surfed it 3 times. sunrise, second morning, and sunset. why not right? it was way to irresistible!
then jump in our private villa pool and think to ourselves “it this a joke?”
went up to the yoga studio that overlooks the beautiful ocean. a breathtaking view.
maybe someday in the future, i could buy one of these villas from Nihiwatu and make it my second office. dream big right? haha.
my vision for surf trips have changed drastically. i now longer have the urge to surf with a lot of people anymore. i just want to go with a couple of friends and enjoy every single moment together. it’s easier, more relaxing, and just so peaceful. and it’s also a great time to catch up on our lives, friendship, and precious memories. because to me, that’s all that matters these days. thank you again guys for the awesome trip. can’t wait to do it again!
