another 6 wonderful hours in the ocean today. check out the action!
took out Team Fukuoka for some snorkeling, fishing, surfing, and laughing. starting from the left, Takumi-kun, Riku-kun, Taison-kun, Mitsuaki-san, Joe-kun, Aya-san, and Matsuo-san. super cool surfers that know how to have fun!
Takumi-kun is 12 years old. such a cute kid. was super happy to see the 3 turtles on the bottom of the ocean. and super happy to jump in and out of the water.
the water was pretty rough today and nobody got sick. surfers are strong!
Aya-san swims super gracefully, just like a mermaid. so cool to see her again in hawaii. it’s unbelievable i knew her for 20 years. and she looks exactly the same!
there were turtles everywhere. usually hanging out in the deep water but they come up often for some fresh air. cool photo!
i was snorkeling around and watching everybody. then all of a sudden, i see somebody coming up from the deep! omg, Mitsuaki-san went deep! check out the turtle on the bottom! awesome deep diving Mitsuaki-san!
had a great time surfing with Riku-kun yesterday. and today had a great time watching him playing in the ocean. this is how watermen are born. this kid is going to be a pro very soon!
my friend on the bottom. just dropped in to say hello.
Riku-kun the next Urashima Taro.
the goggles to the underwater world.
i let 10 year old Joe-kun take the wheel for a while. he did great!
another cute kid! and you should see this kid surf! i was watching him laughing and laughing. he would take off on a pretty big wave and surf it so good. it was like a remote control surf kid! haha.
then Takumi-kun went to catch a few waves too. so stoked to see his big smile.
then ended the afternoon with a wonderful lunch and lots of laughs. thank you Team Fukuoka for a wonderful time in the sea. hope you enjoy the rest of your hawaiian vacation. see you again!
then went to pick up Shintaro-san and had an awesome afternoon surf session! omg, the waves were so good!!! better put some aloe on my body and sleep early because tomorrow will be another 6 hour day in the ocean. can’t wait!
