went on a full on shopping spree yesterday. Asayama-san needed shoes and clothes so i took him at the best time. the sale after the 4th of july sale!
i told him i’m a professional traveler so my recommendations for shoes are “sketchers.” i climbed the highest mountain in guatamala with sketcher sneakers and it didn’t let me down. and it’s very light and very cheap so you can’t go wrong.
then we went to buy short pants and now is the best time because it’s mid summer and the stores want to get rid of it to make room for the fall line. so the same shorts that cost $80 last month is now 60% off! Asayama-san bought 2, i bought 3. haha. i ended up buying more stuff and spent more money than him. haha.
dim sum in chinatown is my favorite.
we ate so much!
and planning this weeks dinner so needed some fresh fish.
i think it’s so funny that nobody ever believed me that there are tiger sharks in waikiki. now you should because here is the proof. i was thinking of calling the lifeguards to post signs on the beach, but that wouldn’t make any sense because there are tiger sharks swimming around every single day. it’s their home and we are the visitors.
there is a korean store 2 minutes away from my house. they sell the best marinated meat and chicken there. check out the kalbi. it was so good!
so happy to see free diving spreading to japan. good girl Saori-san!
