yesterday instead of surfing, we decided to go enter hawaii’s most beautiful nature. no planning so we only had our slippers. good enough in the beginning, but eventually went barefoot till the end. i’ve hiked many dangerous trails around the world, but this one was the most riskiest ever.
over on the east side of the island, there is this secret waterfall. i learned about it last week by a friend and she told me “be careful because it’s very dangerous. but once you get to the end, you will be rewarded!” and yes, we were very surprised! nobody there and it was by far the most beautiful place i’ve ever been too. right when we got up there, Mai-chan jumped into the freshest water on earth.
you won’t find anywhere in the world like this. the highest mountain and pure water. can you believe this is hawaii???
Mai-chan did some meditation in one of the most beautiful power spots i’ve ever been too. it was breathtaking.
balance is everything. one slip here and your pretty much dead. high risk, high return!
then after our muddy barefoot hike, we went to another power spot to rinse off. from the mountain to the ocean. a very exciting afternoon of exploring! thank you Mai-chan for being so spontaneous. and also for begin so adventurous!
