omg, the japanese culture still seems to amaze me. when i woke up for breakfast yesterday morning, i was surprised to see my breakfast looking like art. it was so beautiful that i didn’t know where to start.
so i started off with tea. the same kind of tea pot my grandma use to use. it’s so weird how all these memories return so clearly.
this is breakfast for one. and yes, i don’t waste so i ate every single thing. it was amazing.
if this is how the samurai use to eat a thousands of years ago, i want to be a samurai! haha.
and the milk here is so good! i don’t drink milk back in hawaii, but in japan, i love it.
when i walked into my room, i had to ask the staff, “is this real” and yes, it was real, and it was very sweet!
it’s amazing how an onsen can heal your body and skin. i was soaking in it for a very long time and when i got out each time, i felt so good, and my skin felt like a baby. and it still does.
coming out to the country in Mie-ken, i feel the fresh air. feels so good!
and yes, the night at Non-chan’s was a night to remember. home style japanese cooking, and the kindest hospitality around. can’t wait to go back again!
and yes, i think everybody should experience what it feels like to be treated like a king. it will teach you how to treat others. remember the movie i always recommend? “PAY IT FORWARD!”
