gosh, it was so great to eat my favorite Yamari Shirasu again in wakayama. i could eat this every single day for breakfast.
and the wonderful Atsuko-san breakfast! gosh, Kimurasan is a very lucky guy.
i booked a flight to sendai and was all ready to go. then i get a photo message in the morning from Toda-san saying “the waves near my house is good! it’s like Bowls but a right. the sendai flight goes without me, i close my suitcase, jump on the train, and i’m there in 3 hours time.
the transportation system amazes me. you can go anywhere so easily in japan so it’s hard to miss the waves.
the guys pick me up at the train station and we head straight to the beach. waves getting bigger and perfect conditions. lucky again!
this is local japanese style surfing culture. only locals can surf here so being a foreigner and surfing here is unheard of. thanks boys for sharing your amazing waves throughout all these wonderful years!
had a great surf, awesome talk, and good laugh’s. then i was back on a train and headed to the big city of tokyo.
in hawaii, this sashimi platter would cost over $50. but here, it only cost $12. and it was delicious!
it’s my first time i stayed at Shin-Okubo station. wondering why there were so many korean shops here? come to find out, this is korean town! i really felt i was in Seoul!
the busy streets of tokyo.
and even busier of you’re driving a car. that’s why getting the train is the best.
anyway, heading off to another country soon to get some more typhoon action. just continuing to go with the flow! see ya!
