yesterday afternoon was awesome! we timed it perfectly so it was the only 3 of us. taking turns and turns all afternoon long. the boys wanted to get better in surfing so it was full on kirby boot camp!

next was Hirata-san on a beauty!
after a few adjustments and lots of me yelling from the side, the boys surfing turned into perfect form. Uemine-san has been surfing for 18 years and he said this was by far his best session ever! i was so stoked to hear that.
and the boys first cutbacks ever. Hirata-san kept on paddling back out with the biggest smile on his face. i didn’t even have to ask him how his last wave was. haha.

Uemine-san-san so happy! after our surf, he was so exhausted. i’m sure he slept good last night.
and i’m sure Hirata-san slept with this bright smile all night long.
i caught some really nice ones too. we totally scored!
