thought that since i came this far, i should check everything out. asked the resort for a boat charter and they told me $80 for a group session. i wanted private so i walked up the street and found a fisherman that agreed to let me charter the whole boat for $80. a great deal!
so i have a captain, a guide, and my bodyguard. the 4 of us having a great time. this is the way i want to explore!
we pull up to the island and OMG, it was so beautiful! this is a national marine reserve so no fishing allowed. i’ve snorkeled the world and this place impressed me a lot.
clean water and lots of sea life. i haven’t seen so many different kinds of species all in one place. it’s like the worlds biggest aquarium.
then asked the guys if i could go on the land. when i was snorkeling, i could see deer on the mountain.
omg, buck! if i was back in molokai, this would be my dinner.
then went around the other side of the mountain and dove another spot. it’s like a 2 meter deep reef with a 25 meter drop off. i seen so many fish! with my cheap rental leaking mask and no fins, i still managed to go to the bottom. it’s crazy how mental free diving is. i feel so free now! maybe that’s why i can dive so deep?
then the captain drops me off right on the beach fronting our sex resort. happy to see Kimura-san and Atsuko-san waiting for me. felt like a kid coming back home.
took a nap and got ready for our long drive.

this monkey was yelling at us. i seriously thought he was going to attack us. freaking scary! i don’t like monkeys!!!
