when i’m going out to catch dinner, i’m very picky. i don’t just kill anything, i’m very selective. all i need is one fish so i try to catch what i feel like eating that night. in this case, it was something to steam. so i take a drop, go to the bottom, and just wait.
i see a nice size papio swimming by, but papio’s aren’t good for steaming. so i let it pass. then right behind, i see the perfect fish approaching. so i wait in silence.
when it gets closer, i make sure i have the perfect shot. and when i do, there is no way i’m missing.
the perfect size fish for the steamer! i was actually aiming for behind the eye but ended up shooting it in the eye. i was kind of bummed because i like to eat the eye too. from start to finish, i got this fish in under 2 minutes. and yes, it was delicious!
somebody asked me where is the best place to watch the sunset. for right now, i think diamond head. you might even get lucky and see a whale jump in front of the golden moment.
been spending a lot of time down at the yacht club working on Mayuki. it’s just never ending maintenance. was there early this morning in the hot sun sweating like a pig. can’t wait to take her out to catch some waves, and catch some dinner!
another interesting sculpture at our sex resort in indonesia.
and last, so happy to see this photo of Ofunato. my hawaiian surfer friend Fabian was there and sent it to me. the first time i saw Ofunato, it was totally devastated by the tsunami. now i see new houses and buildings. that makes me so happy! so happy to see japan rebuilding and rebuilding! ONE!
