it was supposed to rain yesterday and today but the weather was as beautiful as it gets. went out for a morning surf and the golden light injected instant energy into my body and soul.
so stoked to see Oshima-san riding super good waves into the sunrise. the best feeling in the world!
Oshima-san surfing better and better. bend your knees, look forward, and enjoy the ride! this is perfect!
while half the island is sleeping, we are wide awake enjoying the beginning of a beautiful day. perfect waves, and perfect fun!

Frank Sinatra use to sip on this while singing “My Way.” my all time Sinatra favorite song! i’ll put on my headphones, sip some on the rocks, and sing “I did it My Way!”
then went straight back out with Nanami-san and Gavin. i was in the ocean from 7am to 12pm. five hours of fun in the sun! we scored!
so happy watching Josh Moniz putting on a great performance at sunset beach yesterday. i can’t believe he’s surfing against the worlds elite surfers.
and yes, Josh is a barrel master. that’s my kind of surfer.
