condo prices went up 8.2% in 2016. so if you own a condo in hawaii, last year was a great investment. i took Koguma-san to look at a condo and he couldn’t believe how expensive it was. you need a million dollars to get something decent these days.
i’m afraid of heights so i wouldn’t want to live this high up. freakin scary!

a helicopter was flying over the amazon and passed by this indigenous tribe.
they got out their arrows and tried to shoot the helicopter. it reminds me of the time John Callahan invited me to some remote islands in the indian ocean. he said there might be tribes shooting their arrows at us when we go surfing. i said “no thank you.” i don’t like to disrupt people that don’t want to be disrupted.
lots of people have been asking me where Asayama-san is. i tell them “he has to go back home to japan sometimes you know!” haha.
if you have the right equipment, you will have the right life.
i admire Abe-san for coming to hawaii and visiting pearl harbor. and i also admire President Obama for going to japan and visiting hiroshima. when you experience two sides of the war, your heart will heal faster. and at the end, you will understand that nobody won that war.
