Hinari-chan was so excited yesterday. after her first wave, she kept on screaming “this is so fun!!!” she wanted more and more!
this is the photo i really wanted to take. father and daughter sharing the same wave together. so stoked i got it!
i love to tandem with kids. it’s the best way to get them stoked on surfing. if they go by themselves and fall, they will be traumatized for life. but now, Hinari-chan is hooked for life! so simple.
look at this beautiful smile surfing can bring out in a kid. nature is freaking so amazing!

then i came home and opened my cooler to see what’s for dinner. took a nice selection out, and started cleaned fish. one big kumu for the steamer.
then one papio for the fryer.
then saw Captain America outside my house. haha.
peoples been asking me what happened to Joshua’s hair? he told me that Kelia dyed it red. haha. looks good with the red kumu!
and speaking of red. along with the fish i ate for dinner last night, i ate 2 red lobsters. one steamed, and one for miso soup. i felt like i was in heaven. my amazing cooler box will feed me amazing dinners for the whole week! then i’ll go back to the ocean and get more for next week. i wish i could live my life like this everyday. living off the ocean was always one of my big dreams!
