i was lucky enough to shoot this nice Uku. so last night, i cleaned it outside of my garage. then i made some nice fillets, then threw the head in the rubbish can on the street. i came back in the house and started to think how i wanted to eat this fish. then i thought, “i want to eat fish head soup!” so i went back outside and got the head back out of the rubbish can. haha.
then i washed it, cut it up, and it was ready for a delicious soup! by the way, i learned how to do this in the philippines.
but first, carpaccio! omg, it was the best ever!
then i had my garbage can fish head soup with a nice salad. it was incredible! i’ll never throw away a fish head ever again. and if i do, i’ll get it back out of the rubbish can and eat it. haha.
i’m thinking about taking a vacation next week. so this morning, i spent some time looking where to go. since i went to the most southern tip of japan (yonaguni island) before, i always wanted to go to the most northern tip of japan (wakkanai). of course i’ll take the train and bus. 19 hours and 30 minutes. wow! last time i tried to do this long trip, i got off at Sapporo and went snowboarding instead. not sure what i’ll do this time.
