this is where we stayed at in Niseko. cool little pension called Jazz.
this is the view from the mountain. most guys stay on the regular course but us surfers like to go off the track. that’s where the best powder is and that’s where you get the rides of your life. but one mistake and you will hit a tree and go to the hospital. or you will fall into a deep hole going down to the river and freeze to death. i almost did both.
the Powder Company is the best place to get tours, tips, gear, rentals, and smiles!
i would be lying if i said i didn’t fall down. just look at the ice on my ass and you will know i spent a lot of time on my ass. haha.
goodbye Takahashi-san. thank you again for watching over me in the wild!
was super happy to bump into Katsura-san in japan. we were in a small cafe, she was sitting facing the opposite way. then when we both stood up and turned around, we were totally shocked to see each other face to face. such a small world!!! a weird 1Q84 experience.
when we have north winds like this in hawaii, the water is as clean as it gets. as i was heading in over the ala wai channel, i could see the bottom clearly. this only happens a few times a year.
on my way home, i stopped by this house for sale. it was built in 1917 and totally restored to the finest details. walked around the property inside and out looking in awe.
who ever did the work on this house did a fantastic job.
the insides were super cozy and comfortable.
the three houses on the property had a total of 11 rooms and 7 bathrooms. and if you had $4.2 million, it can be yours! dream on!
