from yesterday, i knew the big rain storm was coming today. so i thought i’d do something i always wanted to do for years. which was to learn how to use and legally own a gun. it’s my 2nd amendment right as an american citizen so why not?
so i took the 6 hour class from this morning. started in the classroom learning everything about safety and equipment. it was very interesting and i realized that i was a very dangerous man until now. handling guns before without proper education was very dangerous.
i took the class from this guy Norman that’s been teaching it since 1977. super experienced.
after the class, we went to the gun range and did some target practice.
it’s unbelievable how much power these handguns have! the gun almost flew out of my hands a few times. crazy!
i shot so many different ones which was a great experience. now i know exactly which ones i’m going to get. a 9mm Glock and a .38 Special!
i passed the class, passed the test, and now i’m qualified to own and use a gun. went window shopping and now i have to save some money because i want a few of these.
and eventually, i’ll get a riffle for hunting. a handgun to protect my family, and a riffle to hunt and survive off the land. a great investment. and i’ll also be able to take my friends to shoot at the range. stoked!
