it’s crazy how strong the onshore winds were this morning. i looked at the ocean and it was so ugly! headed down there anyway because these are the kind of days only the strongest can surf.
Nakamoto-san was in for the challenge. i told him it will be hard to make it out, but once we get out there, everything will be easy.
and easy it was! waves were pretty big and onshore but if you picked the good one, you will have the ride of your life!
for most of the 3 hours we were out, only one or two other people took the challenge. it’s days like this i like the most. just challenging mother nature and riding what she gives us. we actually scored!
Nakamoto-san loves the challenge both in and out of the water. so we went to go eat the best Israel sandwich in hawaii.
omg, it was so good! before we went there, i tried to explain what kind of sandwich it was, but words just couldn’t describe it. you just have to take your first bite and i guarantee you’ll love it.
thank you Nakamoto-san for the awesome surf and lunch. great job!
went for an afternoon surf with Kimura-san and it was even more big and onshore. nobody out as we got some amazing waves! lucky onshore day!
