this was my first time at an indoor shooting range. i wasn’t here to play around, i was here to train my eyes. with a spear gun, i know my aim and range. but with a handgun, i’m a beginner. and the only way to get better is practice, practice, and practice.
my best shot was as best as it can get! right on the X! i was pretty stoked to hit it from so far away!
we ended up shooting 100 rounds of ammo.
Rikita-san with another bullseye! it was so funny because the first 5 rounds he shot, he didn’t even hit the paper. haha. amazing improvement Rikita-san!
on my very first shot, the gun slid and pinched my thumb. freaking hurted! was bleeding all day long so that’s another reason i really needed to get to the ocean.
and once i got in the ocean and surfed, my thumb healed and the blood stopped. it’s crazy how the ocean is a natural medicine.
it was on the news about the Manta’s in the Ala Wai! it’s very rare and Rikita-san took this photo the next day. so he got to see it twice!
it was the first time in my life i watched a President address to Congress. the reason i watched it is because i’m really concerned for our world. all of America is still split in half because of this man Donald Trump. i don’t want to take any side because like i said before, half of friends will either love me, or hate me. but what i can say is that we have to move on already. we all have to get together and change this world, not split it even more. something to think about.
and when this wife of a Nave Seal that was killed in the war was honored, it brought tears to my eyes. in reality, we are still at war. people are fighting for our freedom as i speak and we have to support them whether we are for it, or against it. time to get together and become ONE!
