omg, i’m so happy to be home!!! perfect waves and perfect summer days just where i left off. surfed Bowls this morning and got some super good waves! so stoked!

came home to check my email and seen something weird? Nao-san in Wakayama with my friends? what? this is the very reason Go-Naminori was created. it was created to connect Hawaii with Japan, and friends with friends. 11 years later, it’s still doing its magic! want to say hello to Seigo-san and the Ryosuke Family!
then went to go surfing with the newlywed couple Yasuda-san and Miki-chan! Miki-chan is Kiku-chan’s good friend and she was surprised to find out i was just having dinner with her in Sendai just a few nights ago. crazy small world! anyway, more photos on this wonderful session coming tomorrow.
came home and ate dinner at 5:30pm because i was so hungry, and because i wanted to go back out and watch the sunset. first off, wakame.

then jumped in the buggy and headed down to catch the sunset with my little princess riding on the side.
it was so beautiful! the perfect ending to the perfect day! can’t wait for tomorrow to come!
but when tomorrow comes, expect traffic delays and empty lineups because the roads will be closed in the morning for the marathon. have a wonderful night!
