waves super fun again! so far this summer is so amazing! another swell coming tomorrow, and even a bigger one next week. Yamauchi-san enjoying the ride!
Yamauchi-san hasn’t surfed for 5 years so today he had a lot of catching up to do. and he did that by riding over 25 waves in our 3 hour session. such a super good surfer!
the conditions and weather couldn’t have been any better.

then we went to eat lunch and talk story. always fun meeting new people and talking about life, work, and Japan. thank you Yamauchi-san for the wonderful day and hopefully i’ll drop by your salon in Daikaiyama!
Da Poke Company had the best poke bowls on the island. try the steak poke too. i love it!
then we went for a drive to the East side. it was as blue as it gets. one of those picture perfect days.
then came back to Diamond Head and the waves were looking super fun. more summer swells on the way so get ready for a great summer!
