the waves finally slowed down but the locals aren’t tired yet. Tommy @ Bowls.
had a super fun time with Maki-san this morning. his first time to Hawaii and first time surfing. Maki-san’s been surfing for 36 years so he knows how to surf!
i get inspired every single day. at 62 years old, Maki-san looks young, happy, and healthy.
so stoked watching him enjoy the Hawaiian waves! and so stoked i get to surf with him again tomorrow!
and some Hawaiian locals out enjoying the beautiful day!
then picked up Yumi-chan for an amazing afternoon session. spent 6 hours in the water today so i guess you can say i’m pretty burnt.
hot Hawaiian days continue. came home and spent a few hours trying to figure out where to take my next vacation! so many options.
last night my sister-in-law who lives next door to me sent me this text. it was during loud booming sounds that was shaking the ground and lighting up the sky. she actually thought we were getting bombed! haha. it was a rare Japanese fireworks show on a rare Sunday night so i could imagine how she felt. must have been a little scary for her.
