good morning. gosh, what a wonderful weekend it was here in okinawa. saturday and sunday we went for long drives. surf/dive/fun. been bumping into friends that i met 10 years ago. good to see everybody looking the same with all aloha spirit. i came here a week ago and don’t want to leave yet. gosh, i love it here….
went for a short dive on a secluded beach about 2 hours away. travelly, uhu, and a big tako. look how long the legs are. all the way down to the ground…
i cut my hand on the reef 5 days ago and it won’t heal. i shouldn’t be in the water but can’t help. does somebody have superglue i can borrow?
i’m staying at “THE BEACH” hotel thanks to owner takahashi-san. he’s been setting me up. got my own room and the staff here are awesome. so friendly and always welcoming… there’s a 5 star restaurant called “HOKULEA” on the top floor overlooking the ocean with the craziest sunsets. pro surfer satoru-san’s the manager taking care of everybody. in fact, if pro’s come to okinawa, they will probably end up staying here. heard even some famous actors stay here…. ummm… no stalkers please… haha. oh, also on the rooftop is a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. might have to head up there right now. have a great day!!
